Newton's first law of motion States that every body continue to remain in state of rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by unbalanced force . This law is also known as law of inertia. Inertia :It is property by virtue of which body continue to remain in state of rest or uniform motion unless it is acted upon by unbalanced force.
